Standing Rock Community Bike Cooperative
Operational Order

1) Situation:
Several hundred of American Natives from 280 Indigenous Nations and human rights activist from across the country and around the world are inhabiting the area in safeguard of Missouri River and sacred lands at Standing Rock Indian Reservation in Cannonball, North Dakota, which is 55 miles south on Highway 1806 from Bismarck, N.D.

Friendly forces:
Welcoming supporters are living together and growing as community along the Cannonball River approximately 1000 meters from the Missouri River. Camp is spread out over a 5 mile range number of different campsites range on the foothills of a small wooded area and an open plan area. (Pictures Below)

Weather:
Winter is rapidly approaching; and hundreds of supporters have definite plans to hold out and live together through the winter. Campers have every intention to inhabit the land permanently causing a halt to the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. (Chart below consisting of in-depth weather details)

2) Mission:
To effectively create the Standing Rock Community Bicycle Cooperative (SRCBC) at the Standing Rock Protection Site in Cannonball, N.D. This cooperative will provide bicycles as reliable transportation between camp areas, raise camp moral, carter to physical training, and will be a direct asset used throughout the community for the adults and kids alike.

3) Execution:
The concept of Operation: To Provide and maintain a self-sustaining means of transportation through a community bike cooperative. This will accommodate the community with mobility through the snow and will implement activists with a new common bond of  winter cycling.

4) Signal & Support:
Communication: All of our sponsors will be the first informed with bi-monthly emailed newsletters including progress, development, revolving roster of dedicated and adequately trained volunteers, and community engagement. These newsletters will be established to sustain clear, and constant flow of effective communication.

5) Innovation:
SRCBC will be powered from the energy bicycle-powered generators. Inside of the tent there will be four stationary generator bikes which will provide electricity to the bike shop. One hour of cycling on the bike generator will be enough energy to power the entire cooperative for 24 hours. Generator energy will build up quickly and will be distributed throughout the campgrounds.

Innovation Continued:
Each bicycle will be equipped with an internal hub which will power the lights on the bikes,  lithium batteries which will power cell phones, and gps trackers in case in case of emergency.

6) Command:
Larger picture:

This camp-site and protection of water issue is not just able water, oil, or native American rights, this is about community and human life. The possibilities are limitless. This is the first time in world history that this many different tribes have come to live together. Leading this community bike shop will be the head-stone to the innovation at the campsite and then around the country. Not only will this benefit the US Army by allowing for a leader to grow in a new environment but this is benefit the entire culture of indigenous people in America and around the world.
